Hey all,
Just a couple weeks ago (around the first few days of March), the Corona Virus did not seem as much of a problem in the United States. However, within a couple of days, the panic was everywhere. People stormed through grocery stores and other markets. Toilet papers and hand sanitizers ran out. The stock market took a huge dip.
We were all afraid of this pandemic.
What if we get this virus? What if we run out of our basic supplies? Will this virus kill us?
Although I am not familiar with the situation in other states, I know that California Governor Gavin Newsom ordered a state-wide social distancing protocol. In other words, we cannot leave our households unless we have to get basic medical supplies and groceries or go to work that is deemed as necessary by the state.
Some may see this as a terrible plan, but some may see this as an opportunity to become their best self.
We from WAHM sympathize with those who are upset as we are as well. But at the same time, we see this as a time for reflection and goal setting.
We can use this time to think about the things that went right into achieving a healthy lifestyle and things that we can improve upon.
For me, I have done a good job in eating healthy consistently and also exercising consistently. I hope to improve my health by doing more reflection or meditation work because I tend to get too caught up with certain thoughts and feelings during times and it is necessary that I would be able to let go of these.
I also want to stay off my electronic devices more so I can protect my 20/20 eyesight :). In the next couple of weeks I will have to do the 20-20-20 rule as prescribed by eye doctors.
Anyways fellow WAHMsters, please stay safe and use this period of time to reflect on your health goals!
All the best,
Matthew
